Learn how to keep your friends and family safe on the water

As a boater enjoying time on the water have you wondered about:

Do I have all the right safety equipment?

How do I use my inflatable raft or how is it serviced?

What kind of personal flotation device (life jacket) do I need, or are mine still usable?

What do I do if a Coast Guard helicopter needs to rescue people from my boat?

What should I do if someone falls over board?

Is there a correct way to use safety flares? What type do I need?

At the BYC Safe Boating Day, we will answer these questions.

Understanding safety makes us all better skippers
